Contact UsLong hailed as one of the most popular and downright FUN social events in Kansas City, the Fur Ball is Wayside Waifs largest fundraiser, raising significant funds that directly support life saving programs and services. Featuring a different theme each year, guests enjoy live entertainment, gourmet dinner, 18 hosted bars, amazing silent and live auctions, 100% of the proceeds from this event save thousands of abandoned, abused and homeless animals.
BIG Tail wags to those who supported the 2012 Fur Ball, Hawaii Fi-Do! The Overland Park Convention Center was transformed into an island oasis as 1,000 guests donned leis, grabbed Mai Tai's and hula danced the night away, all to support the much needed services of Wayside Waifs.

Strutt With Your Mutt is Kansas City's largest pet friendly 3K walk and 5K run, and Wayside's signature fall fundraiser. Woofs and purrs to those who participated in the the 2012 event! Because of your commitment, it was the most successful Strutt to date as over 1,600 dogs and their humans strutted down Brookside Boulevard, and raised over $120,000 for the Waifs.
You can participate as an individual or team, with or without a dog; Strutt With Your Mutt is a fun, family friendly event. Looking to compete, or take party in another certified 5K?
