We will help you build a strong relationship with your new puppy based on trust and cooperation. Puppy classes are an indispensable foundation for the rest of your dog's life. All training is gentle and fun, and you will learn how to help your puppy blend in to your family.
Topics include:
- Lots of socialization and handling by people
- Success in housetraining
- Chew toy training
- Inappropriate mouthing and biting
- Socialization with other dogs
- New sights, sounds and experiences
- How to play with your puppy
- Handling exercises
- Basic training- be attentive, sit, down, come, stay, leave it, give and walking on a leash
- How to build a structure in your puppy's life to help him become a happy,
well-adjusted adult.
Requirements:
Puppies must be 8 to 20 weeks old. Proof of vaccination history (puppies are required to be vaccinated every 3 to 4 weeks until 20 weeks of age).

Basic Dog

Personalized attention in a small group setting!
This is a basic pet owner course spanning 6 weeks with a maximum of 6 dogs per class. You and your dog will learn basic commands, such as SIT, STAY, DOWN, COME, LOOSE LEASH WALKING, and RELIABLE RECALL. The class will also try to address any individual behavior issues that you may be experiencing with your dog. The goals are to establish benevolent leadership, strong control, and lasting relationships with your canine companion.
Requirements: Dogs must be over 6 months of age. Proof of vaccinations required.Personalized attention in a small group setting!

Puppy 2 6 Sessions Cost: $100 With Dog
Puppy 2 is for recent graduates of our Puppy 1 class or any other beginning puppy class. We work toward improving stays and recall and continue working off-leash. Classes ontinue to incorporate puppy socialization time. This is a great class for your puppies entering "Puppy Adolescence"!
Topics include:
- Reinforce basic cues -- SIT, DOWN, COME, STAY, SETTLE, etc
- Maintain socialization and proof verbal control
- Distance stays
- Both on leash and off leash walking and heeling
- How to build a structure in your puppy's life to help him become a happy and well adjusted adult.
Requirements:
Puppies must be under 18 months of age. All puppies must have had prior training. Your instructor will decide if previous training is acceptable for entering Puppy II. Proof of vaccination history (puppies are required to be vaccinated every 3 to 4 weeks until 20 weeks of age).
