Moody Brothers

Thank you for visiting the Moody Brother's Virtual Strutt page! This year, Strutt is going virtual! Instead of having the traditonal event in Brookside, Strutt will be a week-long online celebration with your pets. Even though things look a little different, it will still be so much fun!

During the week of September 14-20, we will be paw-ticipating with daily walks around our block! Our goal is to walk a total of 5 miles by Sunday 9/20. Please cheer us on with a generous donation to our goal of $500.

And, please tune in with us on September 14-20 on Strutt's Facebook page (facebook.com/struttwithyourmutt) to celebrate 30 years of Strutt history!

Bear's Story
Bear is a Waif alumni, he was just 3 months old when he was surrendered by his first family to Wayside because he was unwanted and abandoned by his owner, left in the care of the owner's sister. The sister then brought Bear to Wayside because she did not want a puppy. Molly took Bear to an event and fell in love with his cute personality and sweet natured temperament. Instead of returning him to the shelter after the event, she brought him home to meet Malakai and Ryne. And the rest is history.

Bear is just one of thousands of dogs that come through Wayside's doors looking for their forever home. Fast forward a year and a half later, Bear warms our hearts everyday with his fluttering eyes, morning cuddles, and playful personality. He loves Malakai and looks up to him. We can't imagine our lives without the guy.

Malakai is not a Waif alumni but we did adopt him from a family living in the mountains of Montana. Mal is a true mountain pup - he loves hiking, swimming and tracking a scent. He's been the rock in our family - a constant stream of affection and the smartest dog either of us have ever had. He's calm and loyal and a great friend to Bear.

Thank you for your support,

Ryne and Molly Moody
